The Forbes House Museum presents the legacy of the Forbes family, prominent figures in the China trade and American philanthropy and enterprise. Located in Milton, MA, the museum hosts collections highlighting 19th-century life and global connections, including Chinese artifacts, items from Captain Forbes's incredible humanitarian mission to Ireland, and President Lincoln and Civil War memorabilia. Built in 1833, the Greek revival home at 215 Adams Street has been a house museum since 1964 and a National Historical Landmark since 1966.
