WHERE COMMUNITY, HISTORY, & SERVICE MEET

Celebrate community leadership and the legacy of civic engagement at the Forbes House Museum's 2025 Keechong Dinner.

Held on Wednesday, October 15, beginning at 5:30 PM, guests will gather at the Granite Links Golf Club (100 Quarry Hills Drive, Quincy, MA).

The event includes a cocktail reception, seated dinner alongside local leaders and supporters, and a meaningful awards presentation. Throughout the night, there will be engaging opportunities to support the Forbes House Museum and its mission to promote civic engagement, cultural awareness, and historical education. We will also be honoring two outstanding individuals whose contributions have had a lasting impact on the Forbes House Museum and the community it serves.

Civic Leadership Award

Richard O'Mara has been involved in a wide range of organizations vital to the greater Boston community, including Beth Israel Hospital - Milton, the Neoponset River Watershed Association, Dot Out and the Lower Mills Merchant Association. As the owner of Cedar Grove Gardens, he has also been a generous supporter of the Forbes House Museum over the years. Richard's deep and longstanding commitment to philanthropy, social action, and entrepreneurship very clearly reflects the museum's mission.
